If you are interested in that modern look then stainless steel is the way to go. I personally have stainless appliances in my home, which I truly love. Every top brand offers their own version, such as GE, Kenmore, LG, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, and so on.
Like other types of fridges the features are basically the same. Some of the features I recommend include, a built in water filter. This enables you to get fresh purified water right from your fridge, very useful. The other basic features include, ice maker, vegetable bin, snack drawer, spill proof shelves.
- I have an Amana fridge and to remove smudges and streaks from my fridge I use a product called the Dacor stainless steel cleaner.
- I found this product mentioned on another forum, a product call "Zep" foaming citrus cleaner & degreaser works the best. Apparently it works better than products designed for stainless steel cleaning. Apparently you can buy Zep at Home Depot.
- Another tip I found online to keep your stainless steel sparkling, is to clean with baby oil on a paper towel, this works to make the fridge look just like new.
